Gay & Lesbian Clients
The financial planning goals of most gay men and lesbian clients, couples, and families are fundamentally similar: financing retirement, educating children, building wealth, protecting assets, and charting a course toward overall financial independence. Current laws can be challenging however making it very important for them to understand where the gaps and hazards are in their financial lives and to address them so their goals and intentions are coordinated and secure. Stuart uniquely understands the financial concerns of his gay and lesbian clients and has worked his entire career proudly serving this community. He offers investment advisory services to his clients which include both socially screened investments as well as non-screened investment products. He believes in complementing his services with those of other professionals such as accountants and attorneys who work extensively with gay and lesbian clients and can provide referrals upon request.
A growing part of Stuart's practice is in long term care planning and the use of Long Term Care Insurance in the planning process as current laws provide challenges to gay and lesbian individuals and couples who are faced with the consequences of an illness or injury striking them or a loved one. Stuart has affililiations with attorneys who work in Elder Care law and can provide referrals upon request.
